Is Alpaca Universe pay-to-win?

No. Staking ALPUN increases your daily energy allowance, but daily caps and the Productive Farm Time rules keep the pace bounded for everyone. Season 0 NFT rewards are cosmetic.

Are game resources tokens?

No. Grass, water, wool, wood, stone and everything crafted from them live in the game database. They cannot be transferred, sold or withdrawn to a wallet.

What is on-chain?

The ALPUN token, staking positions (deposits, locks, withdrawals), the seasonal reward vault, and the reward NFTs. Nothing else.

Do I have to stake to play?

No. Every player gets a base daily energy allowance. Staking adds a bonus and lock multipliers on top.

Are staking rewards guaranteed?

No. Seasonal pools are fixed and distributed by participation and ranking. Amounts are variable and depend on how many players participate.

Can the game spend my tokens?

No. The backend builds unsigned transactions; your wallet inspects and signs every deposit, withdrawal and claim. The backend never holds your keys and will never ask for a seed phrase.

How do I earn a Season 0 NFT?

Accumulate Productive Farm Time and complete the required parcel for the tier — see NFT collection. Supplies are fixed and first-come, first-served.

Why does my offline production stop after 4 hours?

Offline storage is capped so returning players still collect resources, while idle tabs and bots gain nothing. Offline time never counts toward NFT eligibility.
